Its not because only 1 of my HR-20s locked up and the one that did was NR,the one that didn't was 0X286. Probably bad guide data.

Runnging CE and had it happen but I agree with Stuart, evidence is obvious that is was not a CE issue. It seems hundreds of thousands of HR's had this issue Whatever not a big deal to me just don't want to see it happen again.

PS my HR's are not networked FWIW.

Not CE from this past weekend, but from the prior weekend.

Both boxes HR20-100 and HR21-100 are networked.

One HR-20-200 and one HR-21-100, both networked, and have never run a CE. Both were unresponsive to the remote this morning.

Both receivers dead HR20-700 needed RBR working fine
HR21-100 2 RBR nothing pulled plugged working fine
turned off receiver. Came home and dead again RBR nothing pulled plug again working fine

I was going on vacation and with the high risk associated with this CE and wanting something stable I didn't do the CE, guess it wouldn't have mattered. At least my son was able to go to the house and reboot everything so I could Sling back into them.

My HR20-700 was was unresponsive in rewind, had to do a RBR and I have CE286.

Yes and No. One of my units was not on the latest CE.

No CE for me. Had to unplug to get HR20-100 back up.
