This is the quote I just heard on a Directv ad..

the problem with the ad is that its a lie..

you don't get EVERY GAME, EVERY SUNDAY..

because Your local channel won't allow it and Directv doesn't do anything about it.

just come up with an Ad that tells the truth.

what would you do if you ran out and bought Directv just based on this ad. and it wasn't true.

In some areas you DO get all of the games (in HD), however, I belive the the statement is true. If you have D* and you get NFL ST then you will get EVERY game. The only reason a game would not be on ST is if it was on your local network, therefore you would still get the game.

I've heard and seen the TV ad several times, and they do present the caveat "subject to NFL Blackout Rules" within the contents of the commercial...so most, but not all games...depending on your location.

yea u dont get every game like a local home game if its not sold out within 72 hours of kickoff etc...
there is the caveat at the end of the commercial in small writing on tv about the nfl blackout rules being in effect.

Last year due to capacity you also couldn't get every HD game available on several Sundays. They would show SD only even though CBS was uplinking in HD.

I beleive you get all of the 1 and 4 o'clock games in HD regardless of local blackout rules if you have the Superfan package. I think.....
Not quite true. Depends on your market. In my market the local game on Fox is blacked out in HD, the CBS game is not. So it really depends. As I always tell everyone, always count out to have both SD and HD games that are on your locals blacked out (because they are supposed to be). If they aren't then bonus for you.

Guys dont feed this troll... he has another thread going screaming about DirecTV being a bunch of Liars about baseball. You cant reason with him, you cant help him, he doesnt want help he just wants to call DirecTV a bunch of Liars every chance he gets. As baseball season is half over he wants to get cranked up for football.

His rampant whining about this can be thoroughly researched in the thread located at http://www.dbstalk.com/showthread.php?t=130062

To add what Larry said. bjlc has been on the "There lying to me" since at least May 07. He has done nothing to help his situation, except to come here and whine and moan. If he had spent even half the time to deal with his problem ( and he does have a legit complaint) rather than blaming Direct TV for his problems he would have had it solved long, long, long ago.

To answer you bjlc. Yes I got ALL the HD games, even the games in my local market last year. SD was blacked out, but all the HD games where on, every single one.

Don't waste you time on this guy. I know bjlc I am a "Kool Aid" drinker, no need to respond.
