Installation w/Cable Internet Clearification

I am moving into an apartment and have installation of DirecTV and Charter cable internet scheduled to be installed. I don't know how the apartment is currently wired. I want to understand what is required for both to be installed correctly.

Reading, I see some saying that they can coexist on RG-6 while others say they cannot. So my question is, what do I need to look for when each installer is finished to be sure the services will not conflict with each other, and so that DirecTV is connected to the internet? I understand the best case would be if they each had their own drop, but if they don't I want to make sure the correct hardware is in place. I have read about SWM, diplexors, DECA, ect; what do I need?

Installation Details:
HR34 and H24
Docsis 3.0
Wireless Router

Thanks

Two separate coax lines.
While the HR34 & H24 will use the SWiM, the DOCSIS 3.0 may also use part of the same frequency band and cause problems [on the same coax].
Thanks for the reply.

I now understand a DECA is built into the HR34 and H24.

I'm not sure if my cable modem and router will be close enough to run ethernet to the HR34. Is the wireless cinema connection kit included in the installation? Is the WCCK reliable or is a direct ethernet connection to the HR34 highly preferred?

Thanks
Sounds like you need to work with the management on running another cable.

Which service are you having installed first? It will be easier if internet is in before DTV.

Do you have the CCK on your order?

1) Both cable internet and DTV sat signals CANNOT be on the same cable. PERIOD>>>

2) Once you get your internet up and running, then the installer will install the CCK and you do not need a wireless as the reciever will 'see' the internet thru the coax.
Internet is being installed in the morning and DirecTV in the afternoon.

I plan on having the modem installed in a spare bedroom/office so that existing coax jack will be wired to the utility poll. I guess DirecTV could put in another coax run into the room to wire the CCK into.

Just hope all goes smooth with both installs.

In this case because of DOCSIS 3.0, this is true, but in other cases, it isn't as absolute as "PERIOD".
