Call D* and make them aware of the situation, I'm sure they won't be happy knowing that one of their contractors is not living up to their end of the deal. That's a bunch of crap, if he doesn't want to do hard installs why is he working as an installer? If I refused to do hard jobs at my place of employment, they'd have someone else doing my job and I'd be looking for a new one.
