I am getting a second HR20 box this week to use on my second TV. The installer already ran the cables for me. All I have to do is connect it all and activate the new box.

My question is should I force the update like an installer would. If so, what do I do? I believe when I got the first one installed the installer used my remote to punch in a five digit code.

You can do that... or just wait for the unit to update.

The code is 02468 when you are on the "Welcome" screen while it starts up.

When I got my first box it started the update within 10 minutes of it being booted up. It's all automatic so you don't have to force it if you don't want to.
