I'm just wondering to what degreee certain settings and glitches affect other things.

For example, I experienced the unwatchable bug the other night on a certain program. But while it was recording, the channel was also getting the "Searching for Satellite" message. It eventually "fixed itself", but the recording was hosed entirely.

For example, I experienced the unwatchable bug the other night on a certain program. But while it was recording, the channel was also getting the "Searching for Satellite" message. It eventually "fixed itself", but the recording was hosed entirely.

I think that is the nature of many of the "erratic" bugs in the HR20. Usage patterns and feature use set up certain interactions that some (perhaps even many) users never see, so there is no bug to report.

That's why it is so good to have forums like these, where the sheer number of users makes the little gremlins bob to the surface.
