I have set my zip code repeatdly and ever day or so it goes back to losing ths info and giving me weather for segueda calf. Is this a known issue

After a reboot, the Interactive settings are cleared.

Are you doing frequent reboots?
Or is it possible your system is rebooting when you are not around?

havent rebooted much at all but could be power hits in area that are affecting me

Highly recommend a small UPS then for the system.

My feeling is that a UPS is all well and good, but for remembering the interactive stuff seems like a full body wrap bandage for covering a skeeter bite.

The Hr20 remembers your zip code in at least 2 places, it remembers the last channel tuned even if unplugged for days, and it stores other data. Why can't it store your preferences for the interactive stuff too?

My pet peeve of the week and I'm sticking to it.
