Probably already mentioned, but I was watching the Cowboy/Seahawks game last night. Had many HD issues with the local HD channel but that is not for this topic. During the commercials it would drop audio completely every 5 seconds or so on live TV. You can hit the six second rewind button and it would play the audio that was dropped. Actually leaving it a few seconds behind "live tv" solved the issue the rest of the night. Is this a known resolution to the audio drop outs? I know there were some fixes for the recorded programs, but never read about live programs.

Change the channel and return it to the previous channel. Only fix I know of; at least at this point in time. I know it works for my HR20.

I notice that my locals switch between dd and regular stereo depending on whether it is a local or network commercial, my reciever is allways switching... why can't these stations just broadcast all dd on digital channels? can't be that hard to convert stereo to dd...

Skip back one time, that usually works for me. I think this is a known issue. I am not a genius but I would equivilate it to watching streaming video over the Internet and the buffer running out.

Ok...I thought this might be a known issue but was not sure. Funny that you have to watch the buffer to get it right.
