Is there a newer one rolling out now? Just wondering when I will get Pandora.

59E is the latest, but it's in the rollout pattern, so it's not always in the stream. That's the one that includes Pandora.

A newer release is rolling out, 59E.
It should't be as long of a wait as the previous rollout was.
What is the estimate of when I will receive this?

When it gets there which could be 4 to 6 weeks for the entire Rollout to Complete.

There's no way to predict.
FYI that the 59e makes the DVR status bar the same size as the old one. I'm referring to the bar that you see while hitting fast foward, pause etc. Now it's just that status bar versus the entire bottom of the screen being black.

Thank goodness, between the top & the bottom, 2/3rds of the screen was covered!

"Soon"
It seems that national updates rolled out within a week or 2. Now it's a month or 2? Seems incorrect.

Some Major Rollouts can take up to 2 months as we have experienced in the Past and some can occur within 2 to 3 weeks so it just depends upon Directv and how they want the Rollout to Occur!!! :)

But this one seems to be different in that my HR20-700's got it a couple of weeks ago, but my HR21-700 and HR24-100 haven't. Don't ever remember a rollout where there was this much time between different units getting the update.

That's what I was thinking. In the past rollouts were by geography -- all the units in a TV Market got the update.

With this one, it seems like not only is the rollout by HR number (HRXX) but also by manufacturer (HRXX-XXX). Wonder why this one is so different.
Yup, Model / MFG has got to be playing a role in the role out plan. The hr24-100 got it last week. The hr24-500 still waiting.

I remember awhile back maybe 6 to 9 months ago when I got the NR for my HR23-700s and about 2 or 3 weeks later I got the same NR for my HR24-500s so occasionally it can happen.

Just depends on how they decide to Batch these NR Releases up.
my hr20-700 got it a couple of weeks ago,,my hr24-100 has not recieved it yet & its my main reciever...
Got the new release but now I can't get the DVR hooked up to my (wired) network. I've rebooted the modem, the router, the Direct tv box but still no connection.

Will keep trying today. Anyone else have this problem?
ImpalaSS, try resetting the network settings and doing "Connect Now" after that. This seems to be a common issue after getting the latest update.
I have an HD reciver which got the update but my HR21 & 23 did not, weird
figured out. Everything working now.
