Is D* bitstarving WNBC-DT (ch82) on Sundays?

Since NASCAR has moved to NBC on Sunday afternoons I've been seeing macroblocking, short loss of video and audio drops. I don't see this at all at other times of the week. All my transponder readings (except for the spot beams not for my area) are in the upper 90's if not 100 and happens on multiple receivers in my house. Could it be that D*'s stealing too much bandwidth from ch 82 in order to fit in all the NFL-ST SF channels? Are others seeing this problem, just curious?

I doubt it, haven't heard of problems with the MPEG2 NY/LA feeds, just problems you described with MPEG4.

Have you been watching NASCAR on 82 the past few Sunday's because I've been seeing this problem ever since they went to NBC for the last part of the season. The rest of the week is fine, including the Sunday night football games, I'm seeing it on just Sunday afternoons.

Oh, and BTW, after the early games start to end the problem starts to go away. That's what led me to believe that D*'s cutting back on the bit rate on 82 just a tad too much when the NLF-ST SF channels require more bandwidth on the mux'es/encoders.
Bitstarving the feed should result in macroblocking, but I dont think it would cause drop-outs like we are seeing, and as I pointed out in the other thread, my old HNS E86 isnt experiencing any of these problems. It appears to me to be a problem with the decoding inside the H*20's, be it hardware or software related, or with their stat-muxer, but I should think if its anything on DirecTvs end, it would show up on all receivers, not just the new Mpeg4 ones. I was trying to see if there was any correlation to the amount of movement in the pictures, perhaps the receiver just cannot keep up with the datastream. Its possible they still have debug code in there for internal use that slowing it down just enough to glitch...
