Is it just me or ?

I think it's just a news cycle thing. Not much going on right now with Dish. I think that might actually be good news.

Things at Dish are relatively slow right now. Myself and a few other mods and forum members scan the news daily so Dish Network stuff is not being left behind. There just isn't much going on. Don't worry, the pendulum will swing the other way eventually.

I've noticed the shift also.
Back in Jan. and Feb. it was just the opposite as Dish just released the 622 and essentially ditched the 942. Most posts were Dish related.
Now with the HR20 issues we're seeing numerous topics addressing that hardware.

Yep... it is a cyclic thing... Dish had a bunch of stuff to announce back at the first of the year and then again early in the summer... now DirecTV has some things to announce. It'll be Dish's turn to announce some things soon enough.

Also Dish's 622 hd dvr is working relatively well compared to Directv's new hd dvr. So if you look at all the posts from Directv , they look a lot like Dish's did back last February when they released the 622 with bugs. Just be patient , I'm sure that Dish will cause more bugs in their software or have more lawsuits to talk about soon enough.
