I see the same thing on my 625. I seem to remember reading that others have reported this annoying 'feature' that began some months ago (after a software revision, I believe).

As many as 2-3 times an hour or as few as 1 time every two hours my screen image will do a "freeze" hicup that lasts for a couple of seconds then go about its merry way.
Have excellent signal and this is during good weather. Have done a power down reset.
Does this mean my box could be headed for real problems and I should start visititng with dish or is this a common thing. Has anyone had this exact problem then their receiver went bad

As per your info I will remain from freaking out as of yet, it not really that major as you know just looking to see if it is a common issue or just my special luck.
