I pick up all my local HD stations with an antenna that's older than I am (I'm 29.)oldave said:Every antenna is "HD Ready." There is nothing different about an "analog" versus an "HD ready" antenna... HDTV is simply a radio-frequency signal, just like analog TV. The frequencies are the same between analog and digital. The only difference is how that signal is modulated and the information on the signal.
Any television antenna that allows you to receive your local channels over the air *is* an HD ready antenna, whether it says so on the box or not.
