The local channels in the Jacksonville area have been freezing, pixellating and generally dropping out randomly since last night (Wednesday). It seems to be occurring across all locals at the same time, and I've verified it's happening on both my home receivers at the same time.

The weather is perfect, so it's not a rain or wind issue.

I wondered if anyone else is experiencing similar problems before I call them.

Go to menu/settings/satellite and let us know what the signals are on the 99c and 103ca and 103cb SATs.

If any are below 80, you need a dish alignment.

I live in the same DMA and am having the same problems. Everything we recorded last night on local channels (4-5 shows), were pixellated, freezing and skipping. Not a cloud in the sky and wind less than 5 mph.

Update : spoke with their tech support and it is a regional issue with the local uplink. They are working on it. They reported the same on their Twitter support account.

Problem seemed to stop after the Fox NFL game, around 8:00 PM. NBC has been pretty clean all evening since.
