Getting jitter or stutter.
For example, on channel 204 (CNN Headline News) the scrolling ticker on the bottom of the screen does not move smoothly, it is jumpy.
I have an HR20-100 using component cables.
I use component cables because my HDMI is REALLY bad - unusable.
New HDMI cable did not help.

Have you tried same receiver and different TV?

If it exhibits the same problem - its the receiver. If not, its probably the TV.

Perhaps your TV is having a hard time dealing with the non interlaced image.

Any chance you are using an eSata external hard drive? I was having the same issues and it turned out I had a drive going bad.
