Did you catch the response to the question about merging with E*? Malone said he'd love it! What would a merger like that do for us?

He said he'd love it but he also said that it's not realistic. Too much government regulation to stop it.
He attributes DirecTV growth to HD content and sport packages.

I think this is what they do best. Why I subscribe.

Eliminate D*s only real competition. I'm sure that'd make them more motivated to give us improvements to their products.:rolleyes:

I know Hutton well... they did a good job of giving the brokerage industry a bad name in the 80s. :nono2:
