It didn't dome with those little boxes that plug into the coax in the back as seen in the traing video. Is this a problem?

Not now, but later they will be required. The are called Band Converters (BBC). You should contact whoever did the install and get them, as they should have been provided. Otherwise contact D* and tell them you did not get them.

BTW...check the box first, you may have missed them.
