Lampley Signs New Deal With HBO
NEW YORK (AP) Jim Lampley has a new multiyear deal with HBO Sports.
He'll host next year's 12-part documentary series about the cable channel's most memorable boxing telecasts.
Lampley, whose new deal was announced Thursday, has covered more than 400 bouts, been an announcer of Wimbledon tennis for 11 years and worked as a senior correspondent on "Real Sports With Bryant Gumbel."
