Sorry if the answer is somewhere else. I did try searching. It says 255 is the latest national release for the HR 20-700? That was a post in August. Is that still the latest one because I currently only have 254.

You couldn't just say yes it's 254? I did check the top of the forum.

The reason I asked was to double check because when I was searching the forums, I thought I saw something mentioned about a 255. Then when I looked I saw it only said 255 is the latest for the 20-700. And 254 is only for the newer DVR's. But just to be sure I thought I'd ask in case I missed it when looking.

I think he was telling you to look at the top of the forum in the sickys. It lists the model number and the latest release. There is a 255 but it doesnt apply to -700's.

I did read that it said that but all I did was ask a question, just to make sure. You ever just want to double check that you are right? Instead of sitting there wondering if you might be wrong.

Thanks Doug. I am clear on it now. You're right, the doubt in my mind came from the fact that the last national release was so long ago, I was sure I missed something.

Thanks Doug I thought I was having a problem also. My HR22 had the 0256 and my HR21's had 0255. I must be bringing up the forum on the wrong page, or it could be I'm just dence, but I did not see the NR for the different recrs. Thanks for the great forums!

All three are virtually the same version with various tweaks depending on the situation ..

NR's come out when they come out. They used to occur more frequently.
