No but it depends when you check it(it can be less),supposed to be a 3 day guide on regular receivers like yours.Do a check switch, then after it redownloads the guide, check it.satcrazy said:What is the length of the guide suppose to be?
Seems like mine is shrinking over time, I see it is now roughly 34 hours out.
I have the 222k, does that make a difference?
I believe it was 72 hours out at one time.
Am I losing it?
"check switch" do you mean a cold reboot, or is this a setting in the menu? If it is, where is it? I checked the menu and can't seem to find it.Jhon69 said:No but it depends when you check it(it can be less),supposed to be a 3 day guide on regular receivers like yours.Do a check switch, then after it redownloads the guide, check it.
9 day guide on the DVRs.
No but it might be because your thinking is correct but the wrong provider.D* receivers have a 3 1/2 day guide?.satcrazy said:Thanks for posting that.
48 hours. [ I'm in the "up to" section, I guess]
That really sucks.
I could have swore it was 3 days out when I signed up with dish last year..
Maybe I am losing it!
Yes, direct did when I had them, but honestly, I thought I saw three days when I originally signed up with dish. That was almost a year ago, and I really didn't pay alot of attention until recently when I was looking for a program.Jhon69 said:No but it might be because your thinking is correct but the wrong provider.D* receivers have a 3 1/2 day guide?.![]()

Do you leave it on all the time?.If you do then you need to turn it off so the guide can reload. It should reload in 1/2 hour after you turn it off.springtx said:I only have 36 hours left of the guide on my 922 dvr, so I was trying to look at each Sat and Sport to see if there was a bad signal strength
The 922 receiver doesn't work this way. You also can't force an EPG update by running a checkswitch either.Blowgun said:Don't know if it's true with all receivers, don't see why it wouldn't be, just go to the end of the EPG to perform a manual update. I leave my DVR on all the time due to buggy firmware, so I update the EPG manually.
