The long awaited boxing match-up between Mike Tyson and Lennox Lewis will finally appear on pay-per-view this weekend on June 8 at 9 p.m. EST.

The 12-round bout (with the pre-show beginning at 8:30 p.m. EST) will premiere at the Pyramid in Memphis, Tenn.

The World Heavyweight Championship features World Boxing Council, International Boxing Federation and IBO heavyweight champion Lennox Lewis (39-2-1, 30 KOs) and Mike Tyson (49-3-2, 43 KOs) who was the youngest man ever crowned the World Boxing Council heavyweight champion at the age of 20.

Looks like Dish Network hackers are not going to be able to see the fight, the word on the street is that Dish Network had a major ECM that turned all illegal recievers into one channel receivers.

Sucks to be them.

The Schmucks are probably better fighters than Tyson and Lewis...at least in technical fighting skills.

Manny Pacquiao is a featherweight with a heavyweight's uppercut. Jorge Julio is also a very good fighter with a chin of iron.

Joel Casamayor is a tornado. He opens the fights big and generally overwhelms his oponents with a birrage of combination punches. He had great stamena. Juan Jose Arias is also a very good fighter. I think he came up a weight class and is a contender for the title. Both Cassamayor and Arias are fighting to be next to go for the 130 lb title belt.

All the fighters have been featured on Showtime and HBO chanpoinship boxing more than once in the past year.

If I actually pay for this program, it would be for the undercard and not the main event. The main event will see a replay on HBO next week. The undercard probably wont.

I can't believe that Lennox Lewis knocked Tyson out in Round 7. I thought Tyson would have won, but I was very wrong. If anybody saw it, how good of a fight was it?

I can't believe what I have seen. In the post fight interview of Lewis in the ring- Tyson comes over and gives Lewis hug- tells him he loves him and begs for a rematch. He calls Lewis an excellent fighter and tells him he never meant anything that he ever said. The tiger was tamed.

Tyson should never have taken this fight. If he's serious about coming back- he needs to go back to scratch and take some more fights with other less challenging but GOOD fighters. He is WAY too rusty. Tyson was thoroughly out-classed. End of Story. I give Mike credit for taking his beating like a man and being a sportsman through out. He needs to either get out of the sport or start taking his career seriously. Lewis looked great. He has nothing left to prove and could comfortably leave the sport tonight with the knowledge that he is the top heavy-weight of this era. Does anybody want to see Lewis-Holyfield III? Didn't think so.

In my mind, nothing will EVER erase the Tyson mystique of the 1980's. I'm sorry- but the 1980's Tyson is still the most explosive and intimidating heavy-weight I have seen.

The guy is a pathetic shell of his former self now- but this is 13 years and 2 prison terms AFTER his prime. One could argue that Tyson doesn't even belong in this era. He's more the bridge from Holmes to Holyfield and Lewis who were at their best in the 1990's. But no matter how much we may or may not hate Tyson- we can't re-write the 1980's.

After the whipping Mike got they interview him and ask him about the fight, he said something like the fight was ok, but the payday was very good.

Maybe Tyson was not there to fight but instead was there for the payday.

Watching that fight was a learning experience for me. I now know that if I want to win a fight that I actually have to throw a punch
