Does anyone know if I need the separate antenna pointing at 72.5 for Cedar Rapids Locals? Lost signals on 99(c) so I ran the two coaxes around the Zinwell up at the antenna with F connector joiners and still don't haveanything. I'll have to go up again and look at the multiswitch and see what model.
Should I be able to bypass the Zinwell and use the two coaxes and since I only have one TV, and for the moment not need CR locals, should it work????
The back of the HR21-200 has two BBc and I have swapped them with no change. HR21 has been swapped out, this is the third one since early Feb.

Sat Matrix
101 Good signal strength = GSS
110 GSS
119 Nothing
99c Turner 2 only, swap cable s and it moves to Turner 1
99s NSS = No Signal strength
103s NSS
103c NSS
72.5 GSS

Thanks

You need the 72.5 for the SD locals and 103s ( I Believe ) for the HD locals.
Bear in mind that you can only get KCRG in SD at this time.

KGAN, KWWL and Fox are the HD offerings.
I just got my new dish installed (been with DirecTV since September 1994) and am enjoying the HD but am puzzled why KCRG is not in HD. Is it a re-trans issue ?

KCRG and D* can't come to an agreement on retransmission.

Now - you could get a waiver to get the ABC feed from NY so as to see the ABC HD coverage but that is - or is not - likely to end sometime very soon ( this week).

We are still not sure if this waiver coverage will stand or get cut.

Stay Tuned.
We went up and down the ladder I don't know how many times.
Bypassed the multiswitch and all coaxes were working.
Had a barrell connector, RG6 to RG6 female, it HAS TO BE Yellow or Blue color code per DTV.
Ran each LNB down one coax to the receiver, they worked
then switched to the other coax to the rcvr.

Swapped BBCs at the back of the receiver, still not sure.
Finally proved that one of the BBCs was bad because on one coax without the bad BBC we could see 99c and 103c.

Got a good tech at DTV and she had no problems when I told her we did not
have 99&103c

I ask nicely and they shipped two out to be here in IC on Saturday.

I'm sure the negotiation is over how many viewers and how much
DTV will pay KCRG.

Thanks again everyone.

Isn't everything supposed to move off of 72.5 by the end of the year? If so, does anyone know the schedule?
