I have seen this on ESPN as well with the HR20. It might be a DTV issue though, because I was watching a recorded episode of L&O last night from the HR10 (recorded on NY HD channel) and the lip synch issue was terrible. I haven't noticed live on any other channel than ESPN yet.
Lip Sync Problems
For the past 4 or 5 days I've been having some serious lip sync problems, especially on ESPN HD and ABC. Some times are worse than others. A rep suggested that I do a reset, but I don't think that a reset will resolve this problem. I'd like to know if there are others in this forum that are experiencing the same problems with the same channels.

ESPN-HD has had this problem (no matter what box) for quite some time. A reset might help get things in sync, and it doesn't hurt anything (other than your Guide has to repopulate over a few hours).
Do a red button reset (flip down lid, right side, red button left of access card), and wait for everything to come back, then see if the sync is any better)
