"FINALLY LOCAL HD CHANNELS IN MY AREA" Just got a DIRECTV email stating that they have launched Monterey-Salinas, CA local channels in HD. It only been a little over two years since they mention it was coming to my area. :mad: :box: But I am doing my happy dance now. :dance::icon_da: Well, I am not home to check the validity of this email, but I trust them. :up_to_som Thank you DIRECTV.

**UPDATE**

Yes all Major TV Stations are HD quality. Finally got to see my SF 49er's in HD on the local channel. This has been a great weekend, great weather and the 49ers capped a win & shut out against the NY Jets. :joy: All is right with the world now.:icon_peac
