Looks like Directv has remapped ION HD to the local channel # now. The Raleigh NC market ch 47 is now in HD.
When I hid the SD channel on IONE, my local ION ch 26 went away since it's in SD. If they remap to the local channel, will my local ION come back automaticly in HD? If you know.

Did this ever get straightened out?!

If not, try adding the remapped channel 26 back?

If not then either... try doing a reset. I've never experienced an issue where hiding a channel causes the remap to be hidden as well.

Not remapped in Philly. Channel 61 is still only SD.
Unlike many markets, DirecTV actually carries WPPX, the local Ion affiliate in the Philadelphia market, so the lack of a remap is not a surprise.

This is all well and good for East Coast viewers, but as usual we on the West Coast get screwed. ION East is now available in HD, but not ION West. My local ION affiliate is remapped from ION West, so no HD for me. And yes I can watch the East Coast feed in HD, but it switches to infomercials at 12 midnight my time.

Well, in Tulsa, we don't even have the local ION station in the local channels lineup at all!
