I've got a Harmony 890 (works very well I might add) and have one small issue...

Where is the freekin DASH button ?!?!?!?

My 880 doesn't have the "-" either. I just programed the "+' button to do the dash. You can use whatever button you want.

I have the 880. Program the dash button on the *. You can do it under change settings I think. You can program where you want it at. I programmed mine as a rep. of the D* remote

Here is a word document I wrote up on how to program the buttons for 880 and 890. It will apply to both models. On page 4 or 5 you will see where I progamed the + sign for the dash button so it would be in the same place of the numeric keypad on the harmony remote as the directv remote.

I also changed the E button to number enter so I can push in a channel number than hit E for instant channel change.

I also programmed the ^ and V as RW and FF, it makes them very useful.

After trying a bunch of things, I ended up programming the ^ and V as red and green (with blue and yellow on the soft keys) and was able to get it down to a single screen and still have everything I use available. I would prefer the capabilities of the 885 with red/green/blue/yellow, but they don't market that model in the US (I've seen it on eBay for much more than I paid for my 880).

Because I think the transport keys are placed all wrong, I programmed some of the soft keys to duplicate those functions.

That's a horrible mistake!
Everyone KNOWS that ^ is for Active and v is for Previous.

The Harmony Xbox 360 remote that Harmony sells has the RBGY keys on it. It's not a bad remote and you can get it for about $60. Doesn't have RF though.

I have an 890 too.

I hav ethe harmony one and one nice thing about the harmony one is the fact that on the screen for the RGBY, they recognize that and have buttons with the colors on the remote but yeah just program dash any button you want or put it on the lcd screen.
