Last Saturday I installed, and activated my new R22-100 as a replacement for
my R15-500. When the installers originally installed the R15 in my den they
also ran a seperate cable to my bedroom which would only mirror what was
playing on the R15, this does not work with the R22.
They used a diplexer, and splitter.

I now need to figure out how to get a signal to the tv in the bedroom.

Any easy ways to do it? I don't need to control the channels, just be able to watch what is playing from the bedroom.
I would really appreciate any recommendations.

The line to bedroom was over coax right? Since the R22 lacks RF outputs, you'll need a RF modulator, turns composite(RCA) into RF signal.

Easily obtained at Radio Shack, Best Buy, Circuit City, etc. Typically cost $15 to $25. Connect composite video (yellow/red/white) out from the R22 to the inputs of the modulator, and the coax output of the modulator to the feed to the other room.

Thanks Carl, I have been wondering how you would go about hooking up the
composite to the coax. Guess I had better make a run to Radio Shack today,
Best Buy and Circuit City are all at least 50 miles away.

Thanks again Carl, got RF modulator at Wal-Mart, hooked it up in about
5 minutes and it worked like a dream :hurah: I can now watch a little
tele in the BR, whilst getting ready ready to turn in.
