Got the 622 installed last week and love it.
However, there are a couple of HD channels (I remember one being the Gallery Art channel) that play for awhile, start to pixelate badly, and then show that the satellite cannot be found. Every other channel, including all HD, come in fine when I change the channel.
Something about not being able to find transponder 6.
Anything simple I can do on my end, or is it a call to the Dish techs?
Thanks.

Let's see, you probably have a Dish 1000 and are experiencing 129 "wobble".

Have the installer come back and re-peak your dish. Your signal on the 129 satellite is low enough that when that satellite wobbles your signal drops below the reception threshold.

And being as it's been *extremely* windy out here, it very well may have thrown something off. The channel is coming in fine now, but I'll give the installer a call.
Thanks...

I had same problem - heavy pixelization on local HD NBC channel. DISH guys, not the contractor, came back out to complete the installation, and I asked that they climb up and check the dish - they indicated it was loose and likely explained that was the cause. They tightened it up.

So far, it's been working well.

Good luck.

You can have your Dish re-checked but 129 is notorious for loss of signal, if you can't get a good signal off of your Dish1000 for the 129 location you may want to look into a seperate dish just for 129. I don't think it's as much of a problem out where you are as it is for us on the west coast, but something to keep in mind.

Basically every 45 minutes or so the signal strength of the transponders on 129 will drop and then recover a few minutes later. This can cause the problems you are seeing.

If you search through the threads here and in the other Dish Network forums you'll see that this is a pretty big issue for a lot of people.
