I am having blockiness and pixelization problems when I watch my HD locals. All other channels show no problems at all, just when watching my Houston locals. I have a slimline dish and my receiver is a HD DVR HR20 - 100.

In checking this forum I learned that my locals are on 103. My signal strengths for the 103 are

1-8 0 0 0 0 0 0 n/a n/a
9-16 n/a n/a n/a n/a n/a n/a 0 98
17 - 24 98 48 86 97 0 0 88 86
25 - 32 n/a n/a n/a n/a n/a n/a n/a n/a

It seems really odd that 1 through 6, 15, 21 and 22 read zero and that 18 reads only 48.

Do you all think I need to have my dish alignment checked? Thanks.

You are posting the signals from 103(s) which are all spotbeams, only one or possibly two of which are pointed towards Houston which is why you see all the low and zero signals. It looks like Houston locals are on TP20 which has a strong signal. You can't use 103(s) as a guide to alignment. Post back with all your signals on the 103(c) signal strength screen, and for BOTH tuners; that will tell us if your dish is correctly aligned on the 103 slot.

Your HD Locals are beamed from either 99º(s) or 103º(s), so it would be helpful to also see your signal readings from 99(s) and 99(c).

Those are good signals (tuner 2 TP1 is low, but I suspect if you check it again it will be OK). That means that your problem is not caused by low signal strength, unless it is an intermittent problem caused by a bad connector. .
Is it happening on all local HD or just specific stations?

It happens on all with the most pronounced problems on the local Fox affiliate. I am not losing the total signal it just gets all blocky, pixelated with audio dropouts.

It's not alignment problem. Looks like your local HD channels are beamed from 99º(s) on transponder 5.

If it's primarly your Fox station, it could be an issue with their DirecTV feed.

Make sure there are NO devices in line between the dish and receivers. Diplexors, old switches, surge protectors, and anything else inline can cause weird intermittent problems with HD, sometimes just locals. I've seen 1 case in particular where the customer got every mpeg4 channel except HD locals. It was because the installer left 1 diplexor in the attic from the OTA, even though he had removed the one at the receiver.

The cable goes from the dish down my outside wall and then directly to my HD receiver. I am going to schedule a service call to get this straightened out.
