I recieved an error message yesterday saying dvr service is not activated,call DTV which i did and spent about 45 minutes on the phone trying to solve the problem.Tried pulling and reinserting the access card,restart the unit but still get the dvr error message.Has this happened to anyone else?There sending out a tech. this week to check the unit.

Did they resend the authorization code to the unit? I think I've read of other people having this happen and DTV just had to resend the authorization code to the box.

Yes,they sent the auto. code but no luck.

There are different codes for tivo based DVR's and non-Tivo DVR's including the R15. I would call again and have them try one more time, emphasizing the model of DVR you have.
