If I wanted to deal with Torrent or other share systems I wouldn't of purchased a DVR, that is suppose to record, nor do I want to watch TV on my pc and yes I have a HTPC too, but it is a giant PITA, I just want time shift or buy my content. I just expect my DVR to actually record what I tell it to.JonnyR said:You can see Jericho on BitTorrent in a few days for free...
Sheesh, sorry, just trying to help you out. I couldn't watch Lost last night due to the same problem, but decided to find it online as a result. If you prefer to wait until Jericho comes in reruns, that's your choice.btmoore said:If I wanted to deal with Torrent or other share systems I wouldn't of purchased a DVR, that is suppose to record, nor do I want to watch TV on my pc and yes I have a HTPC too, but it is a giant PITA, I just want time shift or buy my content. The intermittent severe pixelation problem seems to occur in the Washington, DC area on channel 7 (ABC) HD broadcast through D*. I've heard from people looking at the OTA broadcast that it doesn't occur there. It is not just on Lost - I've seen it on other shows on channel 7 too.Axecleaver said:All Lost episodes on the HR20 seem to have a corruption problem for me... the recordings get pixelated with green in them, and this happens maybe 10 times in the hour of the show. It lasts for anywhere from 1-10 seconds. Strange since no other shows I've watched have done that.
I'd be interested to hear how far you get with that. Please post.jkc120 said:... this thing misses half of the recordings. I'm calling directv to get some kind of credit or something, this is bs.
They gave me a $5/mo credit for 6 months.kevincmccallum said:I'd be interested to hear how far you get with that. Please post.
I've been keeping track of how many recordings I've lost to random auto-deletes (14 in last 3 weeks!).......!!
