Hi!
I have a HR 20-700. Have had it hooked up to the linksys gaming adapter for a long time (ever since media sharing came out). All of a sudden, I cant hit the net with it. I cant DL ppv, etc.
The middle light on the gaming adapter flashes and the other two lights are on steady. The gaming adapter is not showing up in my list of connected devices when I check that via my router.

Any thoughts?

Is my wireless gaming adapter toast? Like I said, it used to work great.

Can you run a wire temporarily to the HR unit? That would quickly eliminate the DVR as a source of the problem.

You can also put it on the computer that you programmed it on, and use it to see if the computer still gets to the internet by using the GA. You must disable the local lan adapter to make sure it is using the GA to make the connection. If the suggestion from Larry works and this suggestion fails, then I would say the GA has made another decision as to what it is, like maybe a plug checker to see if the plug has electricity.
