Twice today I have had the screen go blank. Once while watching ch. 414 (SD) and just a few minutes ago while watching ch. 144 (HD). When this happens all other channels are fine and all of the Dish screen info/menu/guides are fine. The channels have stayed off for about 5 minutes then come back on. Also the audio is out when this happens. I don't think this would be a receiver problem as only one (that I know of) channel goes out while the other ~200 are working fine. Anybody have any thoughts on what may be causing this?

A had the same exact problem (No Video, Audio or Error Messages) while watching HBO Zone HD yesterday, The other channels seemed to be working fine for the exception of a couple of HBO and EPIX Channels. I lost Reception multiple times on the same channels on every receiver. That was yesterday before 1:30pm pacific time by the way

Looks like the LA outage period is March 3-7, Utah March 2-5.

Only happens twice a year March and October and lasts 10-15 minutes each day for 4 or 5 days.

It occurs when the sun is directly behind the satellite in the sky so solar radiation overwhelms the lnb and it cannot find the satellite signal in the static.
