Have you done a reset since the unwatchable recordings have started appearing and if so, did it correct the problem? If it did not, it may be time to try a full disk format and reset.

I did that today...but from what I have read, the problem is with the momentary loss of signal and the HR20 interpreting that as the end of a program. How would a reformat fix that? And I would be pretty angry if I had to lose the programming I have now on he drive just so I can watch newer stuff. I just can't understand this. I have owned a Tivo for 7 years and the HD Tivo since it came out and I have never seen a similar problem. Why?LameLefty said:Have you done a reset since the unwatchable recordings have started appearing and if so, did it correct the problem? That can't be the cause of the problem - I had a slate of 10 "unwatchables" in a row starting with the NFL Network HD recording I tried to make on ch. 95 a week ago. After a reset and deleting all the "unwatchables", all the recordings made since then have been playable. I couldn't possibly have had any momentary losses of signals on several different channels for one 26 hour period last week.jsg2020 said:I did that today...but from what I have read, the problem is with the momentary loss of signal and the HR20 interpreting that as the end of a program.
