Hey guys,

Is there any way to turn off the annoying "Low disc space warning" on my HR21-100 that shows up every time I press List when the disc has less than 10%? It is a real pain having to click an extra button every time I go into the playlist when the receiver is running out of space.

I'm not aware of any way to disable that message, other than freeing up disk space.

Free up some disk space, or change some of your Keep Until I Delete programs.

Unfortunately, such a warning is not artificially urgent. While a HDD that will hold 100 hours of HD implies that you won't have issues until you try to record hour 101, just like with every other HDD things can begin to become problematic as early as 85% full. The nature of how HDD storage works means that the chance for problems increases exponentially as the drive becomes more full, even if fragmentation is not a possibility (more if it is). It's always a good practice to try to maintain at least 10% reserve capacity to maintain top reliability.

Of course there is one sure-fire way to disable it, which would be to add an external drive. Highly recommended.
