satellite is 103 not sure of transponder. this is for sd IT NEEDS a HD dish and rcvr
SD locals are on 119, HD locals are I believe on 103 but I have no idea which transponder. You would need someone in Portland to tell you.
thanks my hd locals are fine just want to know which sat and trasponder they are on,my sd on 119 trans 29 is only at 45% if i adjust to 55 i drop on hd mp4 to lows 70s on 103 c and 99 so looseing on pbs but get better signal for hds. just want to fine tune the hd local transponder

Well I believe the HD locals moved this morning to DirecTV11 at 99s so if you peak your 99c signals you will get the best possible signal from the HD locals transponder, and you should also get the best signals on 101 also. If your 103/99 signals drop when you tune for the best SD signal then it looks like your dish is not plumb.
wow just checked my tv all my hd locals are gone i guess the change affected me big time, do you know what trasponder on 99s has the Portland Maine locals?

Don't worry about 99s. If you get the 99c signals to peak then 99s will be fine, your HD locals come from DirecTV11 which also delivers all the 99c signals so alignment on 99c will give you alignment on your HD locals transponders. You should have at least 70s on 99c, preferably 80s or 90s.
have 90s on 99c but getting 771 on local hds since yesterday

It looks like you may be outside the new spotbeam for the Portland locals. Are you actually in Maine or maybe in Canada?

No one really does. The way everyone can usually tell from there market is by which TP they get the highest signal on since they are spotbeams
