Austin locals (8250-8253) have left EchoStar 5 Tp 2. Moved to EchoStar 5 Tp 17.

Austin locals (8254,8256) have left EchoStar 5 Tp 5. Moved to EchoStar 5 Tp 17.

Miami locals (8830-8833) have left EchoStar 5 Tp 5(shutdown). Moved to EchoStar 5 Tp 14.

Albuquerque locals (8810-8813) have left EchoStar 5 Tp 11(shutdown). Moved to EchoStar 5 Tp 6.

Dallas Locals (8400-8403) have left EchoStar 5 Tp 8(shutdown). Moved to EchoStar 5 Tp 20.

All channels on EchoStar 5 Tp 12 moved to EchoStar 5 Tp 25.

The Nashville locals (8554-8556) have left EchoStar 5 Tp 25. Moved to EchoStar 5 Tp 12.

The Burlington locals (8935-8938,8941) have left EchoStar 5 Tp 25. Moved to EchoStar 7 New York Spotbeam Tp 1.

Pittsburgh locals (8134-8136) have left EchoStar 5 Tp 29. Moved to EchoStar 5 Tp 18.

Tp 29 is not shutdown. There is a channel with an SID of 258 Nagravision. Don't know what it is.

Anyone have any insight as to these changes. Perhaps clearing TPs for E8s future spotbeams? I didn't think TPs 8 and 11 were spotbeam TPs on E8 (thought they were 1,3,5,7,9 just like E7) but perhaps that has changed? Just curious.

Looks like they are filling in gaps on the transponders where channel have already moved to Spotbeams. Also, consolidating channels from DMAs onto the same transponder.

Probably no need at this time to be concerned with the actual Tp numbers required for E*8. Just need to be able to have sufficient vacancies for the switch. Channels which will go to spots can be considered vacancies as well.

Transponder 8 at 110° is now lit up again. Looks like the Tucson locals are going there. I received a report from a contributor to the Channel Chart alerting me to the tucson locals (they are now uplinked to 8950-8959) and some Tulsa locals (3 channels uplinked to 148°) (8927-8929)
