I suscribe to both the HD DVR Plus Pack and HD Extra Pack.

I also receive MASN and Fox Sorts South in SD. Both of them also have a HD channel that is designated by a ( XXX - 1).

My question is that I can not receive them in HD. Says "Channel not purchased" So how can I view both of them in HD. They are my 2 Regional Sports Networks. I live in Eastern NC.

If they are event only RSNs, you may not be in a coverage area for that teams broadcasts.

Check on the DirecTV website RSN search to see what teams are available to you.

linky to search

theyll probably only be on when they are showing HD games..not 24/7 for regular programming..STO (Sports Time Ohio) is the same way..its only active on D when showing Indians games.

Yes, but they do not show Channel not Purchased when they are off. Just black screen (I just tried 626-1).
MASN HD does not have a game until Tuesday the 12th. The Nationals are playing the Mets in HD, try back then to see if you can or cannot pick up the channel
