Media share music plays too fast with WMP11

OK, I along with others have lost the ability to play our pictures. But music still works. The problem I am encountering (and this was before the latest release) is that some songs play normal, and others playback is too fast (sounds like the chipmunks are singing). Are there any known steps to try to troubleshooot or correct this isssue? I used to have WMP11 and the HR20-100 working flawlessly with media share (picture/music at least), and I know I've lost pictures for now, but is there anything that can be done to save my music?

My "guess" is that you have a mixture of music with various sample rates (48000, 44100, 32000). When the HR2x plays the first song after a reset, the sample rate gets "locked" and all songs with a different sample rate played afterwards will play either fast or slow. This occurs with media servers that transcode the music to LPCM (like WMP11). Other servers that transcode to WAV (TVersity, MediaTomb) do not have this issue. I have reported this issue a few times.
