On Tuesday I planted a mango tree and a Honeybell orange tree. So what, you say? What does this have to do with DirecTV, you say? Dang, I'm glad you asked! :lol:

I planted these two trees in a section of the yard that I had, for over a decade now, kept clear for line of site. It will be 5 years before I start getting intrusions into the line of site from these new plantings. This gives YOU, DirecTV, 5 years to figure out how to make a DVR respond to requests like a modern piece of computer hardware should. If you do, I'll move my dish to another area. If not, that will just be taken as the last straw.

They only made my 2-year contract feel like 5 years with the slowest DVR I've ever known. I was glad to kiss it goodbye.

You have more patience than me if you're going to give them another 5 years...
