Rams 0-2 starts rests on Martz's shoulders

ST. LOUIS -- The smug, arrogant act of the St. Louis Rams coach ends now, a self-congratulatory, acid-tongued genius rapidly reduced to a common coaching clown, the red-nosed floppy-shoed folly threatening to topple the Greatest Show on Turf. What deserved to be a dynasty is decaying down by down, game by game. Mike Martz is the lost soul standing on the sidelines.

Every week, it gets worse for Martz. Every week, he slinks deeper and deeper into his own doing. Nobody cares. Nobody feels bad for him. He's brought everything on himself. His stubbornness blew the Super Bowl, his ego and carelessness profoundly costing the Rams this 0-2 start to the season. Yes, it gets worse every day.

Complete story...

Usually I care more about the Rams this part of the year, but the Angels are doing so well...it's hard to believe the Rams are 0-2 instead of 2-0. Even in there bad years with Robinson, Malavasi, etc....they got off to good starts and then faltered.

They were 0-4 in pre-season too and played lousy. I didn't see the game yesterday. Just bits and pieces. Warner said it was his fault for the performance. Every coach gets cocky when they win. I was just talking about this at lunch today. Rams play at Tampa Bay next week on Monday night. That's 0-3. 49'ers may win the division this year.

Hey!There's always Lakers basketball if the NFL season doesn't look good. Steelers are even 0-2. Kordell needs to go. :)
