I know that if you order a PPV online, it gets mirrored to all receivers on your account, but if you order via the remote, it’s only for that receiver. Now that the HR2x’s have networking capabilities, I wonder if there would be a way (or any desire) for PPV’s ordered via remote to be mirrored either by having the order immediately uploaded to D* via the network, or just have the order function mirrored locally to other networked receivers?

Interesting idea, would be great for those that order PPVs!

I no longer do PPVs though since the 24hr limit (and even before then I barely did any), just does not sit well with me for how much they cost.

We don’t do PPV movies (and really never have – I just buy them on DVD), but there are the occasional sporting events (college football) that we buy. For those, it’s a must to have them on all receivers as we sometimes move from room to room (well, living room to kitchen) during the game.
