I have a HR21-700 and recently I have been seeing a lot of "to be announced" messages in the guide, especially the HD sports and movie channels. I notice that the old tivo unit has much more up to date guide info.

As far as I know the only thing I've done recently is fixed the internet connection.

So what did I break when fixing the internet? If I restart, most of the guide eventually gets updated, but does not seem to be maintained

After searching a little deeper I found the flushing cache hint. I'll try that (reset twice within 30 minutes)

Thanks for the follow up post ColdCase. I had the exact same problem and by doing a reset twice in a row, I was able to correct the guide data issue where almost all of the HD channels were listed as "To Be Announced".

Yup, glad you guys found this tip. It's useful for situations such as these. Sorry ColdCase, I did not see this yesterday, but it seems you found a solution fairly quickly.
