MLB : Busy day with trading deadline looming

Manny Ramirez is heading to the L.A. Dodgers as part of a three team deal involving the Red Sox,Dodgers and Pirates.Pirates OF Jason Bay is relocating to Boston as a result of this deal.More info at the following link.

Interesting article I read that suggested Manny should be suspended for deliberately dogging it in the field, assaulting a 64 year old team employee and faking injuries. After all, we banned Pete Rose for betting on games because that destroys the integrity of the game. Isn't deliberately tanking on the field even worse?

I wonder if 'breach of contract' would apply... After all, he agreed to play baseball. WHat he did the last few weeks was, basically, fill a uniform.

I believe I read the same article. I agree that he should have been in Selig's office a LONG time ago.
With the dust now settled on the deal that sent Manny from Boston to the Dodgers,it appears that former teammate Curt Schilling has some choice comments for Ramirez.
