Four game recordings were deleted from my HR21 over the last two weeks. Called D, CSR and supervisor explained that MLB requires them to delete the recordings after 24 hours on your DVR. This is a new rule implemented recently. Has anyone had this happen, any additional info?

Haven't heard anything about it, nor have I had it happen to any of my recordings.

I haven't encountered this issue. This morning I watched part of a game recorded from a week ago Saturday with no problem...

How did you not find out who won? Or did you know and you just watched the game anyways.....

I haven't had this issue either. I recorded a game on Wednesday (7/30), and I was able to watch it on Sunday (8/3).

The recording history on the HR21 gave me a code (1002) for the recordings that were deleted and something to the effect that they were deleted because of "recording permissions" for these games. The tech supervisor stated, when I contacted D, that this was due to a recent directive from MLB. She at first wasn't sure, if games could be recorded from now on, she double checked with her boss who told her they could only stay recorded on the DVR foe 24 hours.

They were all HD super fan games. (All Red Sox games, Bwaldron). I am going to record in SD on the HR21s and also Sd on the old Directivo, to see what happens to those after a day.

Interesting. I have 5 Indians games (3 HD's and 2 SD's) on my HR20 that are all from last Tuesday on....but you said HR21. The 2 HR21's I have I don't use to record MLB games. I'll have to give it a shot tonight and see what happens.

If this is so, I'm going to be ticked....as, like you, I record my games...and watch em when I get around to it....which is sometimes a week or so later.
