I have got this package for 3 years now running but this will be the first year with the hr20. Assuming the apparent sports package problems are sorted out, can I expect bb games to be in HD? Some? None? Many? Few? I guess all the games come from the regional fox and fox does seem to do HD a lot, so I am hopeful.
Thx

It's basically like the basketball and hockey packages (for now). You will get your local FSN HD broadcasts - if you have the 5 LNB dish. Otherwise, they put on at least a game, sometimes two, a night in HD on channel 95.

I also have the Extra Innings package and assume it will be a few years until we get the package games (for Extra Innings and the other sports packages) on a regular basis in HD (not talking about local RSNs), but on the sports packages. One game a day or a few a week in HD doesn't cut it for me.

Can't wait to get YES HD and MSG HD on these sport packages!

are all the stations in the sports package hd then? what is msg?

I had that package and extra innings 2 years ago, and thought the sprots package was a waste of money, as the games were all on EI anyway. I am basically an A's fan but enjoy watching all teams, esp the yanks, as a yankee hater. LOL I guess nobodys neutral about the yankees.

I grew up as a boy watching the legends play, Mickey, ******, Roger, Yogi. And other great players, bob gibson, sandy etc. Back then is when I learened to hate the yankess because they won every damn year! Just like many people hated my beloved 49ers thru the 80s and some of the 90s and I understand that.

Unless its your team, its BORING to see the same team win all the time. Thats why I don't like PGA golf anymore either. I couldn't possibly admire Tiger Woods more and be any more in awe of him, but quite frankly, for me, he has ruined competitive golf. There is no competiton anymore. Thus its no fun, for me.

Just expressing my opinion of course.

Some of the Giants and A's games (as well as Warriors and Sharks) are available in HD on channel 96, home games mostly. I think he is saying that some out of market games might be on 95 if you have the package. I don't get MLBEI since I am a Giants fan and get their games already.

I'm going to say NO to..... are all stations in the sports package HD.

MSG= Madison Square Garden network. NY Knicks and Rangers. Not in HD on Directv...may have something to do with it being owned by Cablevision.
