Why hasn't MLB and DirecTv worked out some type of agreement to allow Over The Air broadcasts to be shown on MLB Extra Innings? Last Year we were getting Phillies Games from PHIL17, Padres Games from COX4 San Diego, TXA-KTXA Rangers Games, And Milwaukee Brewer WMLW Games All On Extra Innings. Now This Year We're Getting None. There are still other teams I haven't mentioned that have never had their over the air games broadcast on Extra Innings. Cubs and White Sox WCIU-The U Games on Extra Innings. Why is it so hard for them to deliver what the Fans Want To See???

Another MLB EI thread? Pretty much all of this is being discussed in the other threads. There's been Cox4 games. KTXA21 has had 1 game broadcast and it was rescheduled, so that threw a wrench in the system.

It's the 1st week of a loooooooooong season and there's been a lot of other more important sports going on that's likely lead to limited resources.

maybe OTA feeds can only be used if they are the only feed and even then they need to be a raw one.

People seem to forget that MLB Extra Innings does not promise every game and every feed will be shown.

DirecTV only promises up to 80 games per week, which works out to a little less than 14 game per day times six days (84 games total). Only 40 games are promised to be in HD.

All those who whine about not getting what they pay for should read the fairly large print.

that fans rise up and demand every game be included on EI, even if it means losing multiple feeds. MLB just doesn't get that. Its part of the reason the NFL is number one, they have over the years listened to fans and given them what they want.

It's a different animal, the NFL only has to hold you attention for 17 weekends, while MLB has a 6 month season. The NFL also does not allow RSNs to broadcast the product, thus they are controlling the delivery of the product through CBS, Fox, NBC, ESPN/ABC and NFL Network. 5 networks vs. 30 for MLB.

Its part of the reason the NFL is number one, they have over the years listened to fans and given them what they want.

This is another reason why I subscribe to MLB.TV
