Does anyone know?
How is the sale of the SportsChannel RSN feeds doing with FOX Sports Net? I read somewhere a week or so ago that FOX was trying to buy these RSN's. Anyone know the latest? One thing that is odd about today is that all of the Rainbow/SportsChannel/Cablevision owned RSN telecasts today are backhauled in the clear tonight. Ohio & Cincinnati on AMC 5, Florida on T5-Ku and Bay Area on AMC 1 on c-band. Why? I find this odd. Very unusual as there haven't been this many rainbow feeds since 1988 in the clear. Rainbow started fibering the feeds in 1989. If anyone knows, then I would be really curious to find out. Are the fibers being sent to a different place and that isn't setup yet?
