how many of you installers have installed either a KVH or King Controls unit on either an RV or Boat?

RV/Boat companies do those installs, not us. I've had a few service calls on the KingSat units in a couple RVs. Had to read the manual for 20 minutes before I could realign the dish.

I don't work on them too much but I tend to be the one at the shop here to work on ALL the house boats out at the lake here. And there are a lot of them as it is a very large lake LOL. I have to say that I RARELY work on a KVH. I did install a Kingdome a couple weeks ago on a boat. That one seemed to track slow and only pulled in the 101 in the mid to low 60's


Also were you looking to go with HD? Because that would limit you on your options.
