Not sure if this has been posted anywhere, but tonight I was checking for something on my 622 receiver and under the Preferences there is listed Mode Reminder. There is info which states "The Mode Reminder message displays when the remote control is not in Satellite (Sat) mode.' Then a selection to disable the popup.

That option showed up on my 322 receivers when they took software version L424 last week. Last night I first saw the reminder in action when it screwed up my capture of The Simpsons. I immediately disabled the reminder on all four of my tuners.

Yeah it's been there since L511 on the 622/722. Nice to see Dish listen to all of us complainers.

It's nice they have it but they could have put it in a different place in the menu. My macro for CC almost made me poop my pants when it started messing in the wrong places.

No big deal. I just had to redo the macro, but man, what a pain.

Yeah, now if they can figure out how to distribute a firmware update without having to issue two more to fix it.
It makes me wonder why there's never time to do it right the first time but there's always time to do it over.
